Hobbies

"Although I am very devoted to improving my skills and strengths in the sport of wrestling, I have many hobbies when I am not training. I am a very big fan of European football. I am very invested in watching the Premier League and Champions League. My favorite teams are Tottenham Hotspur, Inter Milan, Barcelona and Ajax Amsterdam. On my free time I love playing FIFA on the playstation with all of my friends.

Another one of my hobbies include traveling. Because of wrestling and competing for Serbia, I have had the opportunity to visit many countries around the world. I have been able to see the amazing city of Tokyo because of the Olympic Games as well as seeing Inter Milan play in Rome because of the 2020 European Championships.

I am also an avid fan of anime and manga. I grew up watching many anime on television and it is something that excites me and brings back much nostalgia. I was able to have a manga sketch done of me in the anime style.

Chopping wood is a hobby I acquired during COVID-19 quarantine. I began chopping wood as an exercise at my home for something fun to stay in good shape and to gain strength while I could not train."

Stevan's Role Models and Heroes

"Believe it or not, but my most important role model is my father who has dedicated his life to me and to my wrestling career. I remember being an 8th grader asking him if he could help me to become the best in the world. He never  wrestled but studied the sport with an incredibly intensity to become my most important coach. He knows exactly what I need to deliver my best wrestling.

Sergey Beloglazov doesn't need to be introduced to wrestling fans. He is a two times Olympic Champion and six times World Champion. It's a great honor to work with him and with Sean Bormet, our Head-Coach at Michigan University. Sean is a fantastic coach and a great mentor who you can only wish to have in your corner.

However, I do have a couple of role models in soccer and tennis as well and as a Serbian I am also pulling for Novak Djokovic, Dusan Tadic who plays for Ajax Amsterdam and Lazio's Sergey Milinkovic-Savic. It's not a big secret that the feeling for the ball is something young people from the Balkans have in their blood."
