First Gold at Dan Kolov Tournament

It was a day to remember for reigning world champ Stevan Micic earning his first win at the prestigious "Dan Kolov & Nikola Petrov Tournament" in Sofia, Bulgaria. Nearly 200 competitors from 23 countries took part in the tournament - Iran, France, Italy, Jordan, Kazakhstan, South Korea, Kosovo, Latvia, North Macedonia, Malta, Philippines, Romania, Russia (AIN), Serbia, Tunisia, Ukraine, USA, Algeria, Austria, China, Ecuador, Egypt and Bulgaria. And the 28year old let nothing get in his way as wins over Yasin Rezaei-Aghouzgoleh (IRI), Stilyan Ilyev (BUL) and Yaroslav Hurskyy (UKR) secured him the gold medal in his first competition since the 2023 World Championships in Belgrade.
